What does the Director of Finance do?

• Filing taxes annually

• Completing the monthly remittance

• Managing the salaries of contract employees

• Monitoring and supporting the finances and fundraisers of the branches

• Managing the organization’s bank account and monitoring the bank accounts of the branches

• Applying for grants to fund the organization’s operations (minimum 3 applications per fiscal year)

• Organizing and running fundraisers in collaboration with the branches

• Supporting the Finance and Fundraising branch leads

What does the Director of HR do?

• Organizing & facilitating meetings, bookkeeping (financial and program-based)

• Update & maintain the Resource Centre (including documentation) on our website and internal storage

• Act as the main liaison for branch leaders

• Collaborate with the Director of Communications to update, maintain, and oversee marketing media (website, branding, visuals)

• Work with the Executive Director(s) to develop new training opportunities for WYN members

What does the Director of Education do?

• Write a creative curriculum for program use

• Oversee the development & maintenance of the WYN workshop handbook

• Developing & improving curricula based on WYN evaluations & additional evidence-based research

• Disseminating curricula & coordinating feedback & Branch member support

• Updating topic-specific resources for members

• Train club leaders across the organization & provide ongoing opportunities

• Act as a support for club leaders & program facilitators across the organization

What does the Graphic Designer do?

• Collaborating with the Director of Communications to communicate organization updates on all platforms

• Maintaining the website, communicating with branch leaders and increasing outreach

• Improving the organization’s branding

• Increasing WYN’s online presence and regularly posting on platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn

• Proficiency in Canva, marketing softwares, and website building
