Willow Youth Network is seeking a Director of Finance!

What does the Director of Finance do?

Filing taxes annually
Completing the monthly remittance
Managing the salaries of contract employees when applicable
Monitoring and supporting the finances and fundraisers of the branches
Managing the organization’s bank account and monitoring the bank accounts of the branches
Applying for grants to fund the organization’s operations (minimum 3 applications per fiscal year)
Organizing and running fundraisers in collaboration with the branches
Supporting the Finance and Fundraising branch leads in their roles

Kjipuktuk Halifax Branch is seeking two members to fill these positions:

Community Outreach Leader (Remote Position)

Develop outreach strategies for branch

Reach out to community groups, local schools, and organizations to explore partnerships

Fundraising Leader (Hybrid Position)

Plan and lead fundraising initiatives
Work with Branch leaders and the Director of Finance to budget fundraisers
